James Cameron, the visionary Director of Avatar: The Way of Water and the original movie that began my, and millions of others’ cinematic journey through the jaw dropping world of Pandora, 2009’s Avatar, is a personal hero of mine, having written, directed, and produced The Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss, and Terminator 2: Judgement Day, four of the most iconic, beloved, and game changing movies in the history of pop culture. It’s been a long wait, 13 years to be exact by the time it releases, but Avatar: The Way of Water is tantalisingly close to appearing in your local cinema, and I can say without a hint of hesitation, this is my most anticipated movie of the last 12 years.
